Tentative fishing Schedule  

[ subject to change at my discretion ]

January - Musky & smallmouth fishing on the New River , VA.

February - Musky & smallmouth fishing on the New river . Pre-spawn casting and trolling for BIG HEAVY FISH !

March - Musky and smallmouth fishing the New river. Some WHOPPER smallmouth will show up this month .

April 1st thru 7th -  New River , VA for BIG pre-spawn smallmouth. Musky fishing will be SLOW due to spawn.

April 9th thru May 11 th - Boone Lake, Bristol TN going after 30 lb to 50 lb+ pre-spawn stripers.

May 14 th thru week of July 4th - Musky & smallmouth on the New River, VA. Lot of different casting techniques will now trigger strikes from musky. Smallmouth on topwater . Will start some night trips for big musky.

July - Summer striper fishing on the Tennessee river near Knoxville. If you like to catch stripers on topwater now is the time ! Week days only !!!

August - Striper fishing on the Tennessee River near Knoxville. Check out the summer pics on my website - they tell the story . Week days only !!!

September - More stripers on the Tennessee river near Knoxville. Week days only !!!

October - Musky & smallmouth fishing the New river, VA. Some good early fall fishing for both .

November - Some GREAT musky and smallmouth fishing on the New River , VA !

December - Fishing for BIG HEAVY musky and smallmouth on the New river, VA !

NOTE : I still guide some hunts in Montana every fall. Give me a call in September for the fall fishing schedule .
