These photo's represent a few of the muledeer I've guided for in recent years. It's common to hear whitetail hunters talk about how "easy" it must be to hunt muledeer because they live in open country and "just stand out in the open". Young muledeer bucks are dumb as sticks and you can fill a tag quickly  (providing you can shoot 200+ yards) on an "average" buck. Legendary bowhunter Fred Bear hunted every North American  big game and said the most difficult to take was a trophy class muledeer. Gun or bow they are the ultimate big game challenge. If you would like to experience the "thrill of the hunt" in Big Sky country give me a call or contact outfitter Craig Hueter at www.trophieswest.com.

The whitetail in this photo grossed 183 B&C non-typical . The hunter was Jackie Caudle (bowhunters may recognize Jackie as a 3 time world champion 3 D archer) with yours truly as the guide.
